Orientation and New Members Class
 
Our Orientation Class is offered each fall and spring for new friends who want to explore fellowship and membership in this congregation. The class meets on four Sunday mornings, and is facilitated by our pastors (Jamie Evans, David Abdo and Lana Roberts). We would like to help you know more about “First Pres.” You will be introduced to the ministries, mission opportunities, theology, leaders, and activities that characterize our church. There will be light refreshments—muffins, fruit, and coffee.
 
For those who desire to become members, the class culminates in a Sunday Noon meeting with our elders. After lunch together, the Session will hear your profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive you as a new member. The following week, you will be introduced to, and welcomed by the congregation in both of the worship services.
 
Our next class meets March 30 to April 20. New members will be introduced to the congregation on April 27. Download class details.
