Serve In The Community
Here are some ways you can serve in our community:

World Impact Sonshine Thrift Store
now in the World Impact Center, 1955 Broadway (one
block south of Divisadero at El Dorado) 264-1243 or
455-8995. Open Monday – Friday, 10:00am - 1:30pm
and on the 2nd Saturday of the month, 8:30am -
12:30pm.
Volunteers are needed to
help staff during business hours.

Grade weekly Bible studies
from local jails.
-
Mentor a “Child of Promise”
in partnership with One by One Leadership, we
connect children with a parent in prison to
Christian mentors (i.e. friends).

Help provide a service at the Rescue Mission
on the first Sunday of the month.

Tutor or read
to children at the Wise Old Own Reading Club or at
Martin Park.

Purchase Angel Tree gifts
at Christmas
for children of incarcerated parent(s).

Deacon’s Food Closet: Bring food to
church office or bring to sanctuary narthex on the
first Sunday of the month. Contact Deacon Rick
Friesen for more info.

Provide bicycle, odd job or employment
for a youth participating in Hope Now for Youth.
